With consecutive interpreting, the interpreter interprets the speech broken up in shorter sections, either individual sentences or longer ideas. As soon as the speaker finishes speaking, the interpreter starts interpreting. This type of interpretation is used mainly during lectures, presentations, seminars, business meetings or company training sessions.
