Certified or sworn interpreting services are used in the case of judicial, legal and other official acts. These include weddings, matters involving state authorities, giving testimony to the police, etc.
Sworn interpreting services may only be provided by interpreters who are registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic.
